Nóra Woulfe

Nóra Woulfe has been a valued member of Ridge Law Group since July 7, 2003, bringing over 22 years of dedicated service to the firm. She serves as both IT Manager and Legal Assistant, supporting attorneys and staff with a wide range of technical and legal responsibilities.

 

Nóra holds a Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University and a Master of Arts from Yale University, where she studied on a scholarship at the Yale School of Music. Her passion for music has been a lifelong pursuit—she performed with the William Ferris Chorale as both a chorale singer and soloist from 1978 to 1981, and had the honor of singing for Pope John Paul II at Holy Name Cathedral alongside Luciano Pavarotti and Frank Little of the Chicago Lyric Opera in 1979.

 

After completing her graduate studies in 1982, Nóra remained in Connecticut for 11 years, serving as an adjunct professor and Director of Chorale at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven. Her career then transitioned into social services, where she worked with the homeless and mentally ill in New Haven, rising from Overnight Staff to House Manager. Upon returning to Chicago in 1990, she became Manager of the Mental Health Department at Chicago Health Outreach, Inc., and later co-authored a five-year federal research grant (ACCESS) that brought $10 million to Illinois. She oversaw the grant’s implementation at the state level.

 

Nóra’s shift to the legal field began when she joined Ridge Law Group, where she now manages IT operations including voice/data systems, equipment procurement and repair, subcontractor coordination, and technology upgrades. She also oversees the firm’s website, social media content, and graphic design. In her legal assistant role, she supports several attorneys at the firm and works closely with Office Manager Mayra Rios.

 

Outside of work, Nóra remains deeply connected to her Irish heritage. She met her husband at the 1994 World Cup (Ireland vs. Italy) and was married in County Tipperary, Ireland. She currently resides in Chicago with her husband and their Boston Terrier, Roísín.
