VOTE “YES” FOR THE WORKERS’ RIGHTS AMENDMENT

Writer's picture: Nora WoulfeNora Woulfe

This November, Illinois Amendment 1, Right to Collective Bargaining Measure (2022) will be at the top of every ballot. Please vote YES.

A yes vote supports establishing a constitutional right for employees to organize and bargain collectively through representatives of their choosing to negotiate wages, hours, and working conditions and to protect their economic welfare and safety at work.

This does NOT open up the Constitution to change pension rights, it adds the right to Collective Bargaining to the Constitution. It DOES prevent politicians from deciding that you should no longer have a say in negotiating your wages and benefits.

Do not miss the opportunity to stand up for your rights this November.
